The interior of the Actros L meets the exclusive standards in terms of driving and living comfort as well as ergonomics.

Both while driving and during breaks – the interior of the Actros L has everything drivers dream of. Whoever climbs in, notices immediately that this is what a premium workplace in the long-distance haulage sector looks like.

The interior of the Actros L meets the highest standards in terms of driving and living comfort as well as ergonomics. That’s because, in designing the cabs, the emphasis is placed firmly on the driver’s needs. From the choice of colours, which conjures up a congenial setting and a pleasant sense of space, to the interior light concept. Everything serves to make work easier and to make breaks on board as pleasant and relaxing as possible.

Interior light concept.

The interior light concept provides for excellent illumination of the cab in practically any situation. In addition to the interior light to illuminate the entire cab and two reading lights, it also comprises a subtle blue night light to help the driver find their way around the cab while on the move.

Special equipment for ambient lighting.

The LED ambient lighting1 delivers homely illumination of the interior and thus provides a pleasing living atmosphere. For example thanks to both the ambient night-time driving light with blue LEDs and the indirect amber-coloured living area light. The LED ambient lighting1 also includes a dawn simulator as an added comfort feature.

The system comprises several illumination components which have been tailored to one another, such as the ambient light ring on the ceiling which offers various uses for day or night-time, then there is the reading spotlight and various LED spotlights.

LED ambient driving and living lighting1.

The lighting elements of the LED ambient lighting for driving and living1 provide homely illumination of the interior and thus help create a better living atmosphere. They also help orientation in the cab when driving at night.

The LED ambient lighting - driving and living1 equipment item includes diverse mutually harmonised lighting components, such as the ambient light ring on the ceiling, a reading lamp and a number of LED spotlights. It also includes the two functions "Night-time running lamps" and "Living area light"

StyleLine1.

The StyleLine1 lends the cab an even more stylish, contemporary ambiance using chrome-look trim elements.

The trim strip in chrome look and the inscription on the instrument panel underscore the vehicle's individualistic character, which is further enhanced, for example, by the chrome trim on the leather steering wheel and steering-column lever, as well as on the parking brake. The chrome bezels on the instrument cluster and the multi-touch-display set further bright highlights. Velour carpet inserts afford greater comfort.

TrendLine1.

The TrendLine1 can lend a warm and extremely home-like atmosphere to the cab through wood-look trim elements.

The distinctive trim strip with TrendLine lettering on the instrument panel is complemented by further wood trim on the hand brake lever, the platform and next to the steering wheel. Also included in the scope of delivery: velour carpet inserts.

Interior Accessories Line1.

The new Interior Accessories Line1 further enhances the cab: the black opaque and light-resistant all-round curtains with a "blackout effect" facilitate an excellent night's rest. There is a new curtain with the Mercedes‑Benz star on a black background across the front of the bed.
